Central Government is Planning to Ban China's Mobiles Handsets ?!

 

China's mobile handsets are also expected to be banned after Chinese applications. According to sources, the Digital Communications Commission is likely to approve the data privacy and security recommendations at its meeting on September 19.

According to TRAI's recommendations, handset companies must take responsibility for protecting customer data. Between this is 2018. TRAI recommended data security, ownership. The ICA opposed the TRAI's recommendations. This recommendation states that applications, operating systems and mobile handsets must protect customer data. If this policy is to be implemented, mobile companies will have to set up their servers in India. Chinese handsets account for 74% of the Indian market.

Meanwhile, TRAI has spoken about OTT applications such as Facebook,  Twitter, WhatsApp and there is no need for guidelines for their control. However, it has insisted on monitoring these applications so that they can be controlled when needed. If TRAI regulates them, it will have a bad impact on the industry. TRAI said they should be monitored and not regulated, and action should be taken against these applications only when necessary. Moreover, there is no need to interfere with the privacy and security of OTT applications.
